Hands-On Conservation

Bush regeneration, testing & more

For over 30 years, the Mulgoa Valley Landcare Group has been actively restoring the vegetation corridor along the Mulgoa Creek, recovering the diversity of vegetation communities which are classified as endangered.

But we can’t do it alone. Your involvement will help protect native habitats and ensure that Western Sydney’s bushland continues to thrive.

About Us

Mulgoa Creek and the surrounding bushland are under pressure from urban growth, invasive weeds, and habitat loss, putting native species and ecosystems at risk. Without ongoing care, these habitats face permanent decline.

To help restore and protect these ecosystems for years to come, Mulgoa Valley Landcare runs hands-on bush regeneration sessions on the last Saturday morning of every month. Every contribution/helping hand makes a tangible difference, strengthening our conservation efforts and supporting the recovery of Mulgoa Creek’s bushland.

        Connecting Community with Healthy Habitats

We’re proud to be leading a three-year project, funded by the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant, to restore biodiversity and protect wildlife across the Mulgoa Valley.

Our focus is on reviving critically endangered riparian vegetation and creating better habitats for native species, with a special emphasis on platypus conservation. We’re also installing interpretive signage to engage and educate the community.

Join us and make a difference in supporting Western Sydney’s natural environment.
